Zach Helm

This movie is enjoyable for both children and adults. It tells the story of an old man (who is older than our nation if you believe him) who runs a toy store. The store is always over-run with kids who are doing all sorts of kid stuff and having fun inside the store. However, early on in the movie, we find out that Mr. Magorium is intending to "retire" and hand the store over to his protege Molly Mahoney.

As Mr. Magorium tries to leave Mahoney the store, she gets upset because this is not what she had in mind for her own future. The store, which is magic, also becomes upset and begins to turn gray. Much of the magic that the store is known for begins to slowly creep out as the movie moves forward. It becomes very interesting to see how Mahoney brings the store and her dreams back to life.
