Why I picked this book up: I am a Licensed Psychologist working in a max security prison and I often hear from inmate/patients “I overthink things and can’t shut my brain off.” So I picked it up.
Thoughts: This book title cover all the points in this read. This book is an easy read with many good suggestions and strategies that tend to be simple, straight forward and useful ways to help. It uses mindfulness and some CBT methods. It teaches ways to take some time to reflect, meditate and not take things too personally. It does a good job addressing and teaches ways to overcome negative thoughts , anxiety, and procrastination. The author is a life coach. This book was good but not professional IMO.
Why I finished this read: The brief and simple ways this book teaches about how to create a positive way for letting go of worry and developing a positive mindset. This book teaches ways to overcome negative thoughts , anxiety, and procrastination. It was easy to finish this read and worth it to me.
