Maria Hinojosa is an urban affairs correspondent for CNN. From 1990 to 1996, she was a correspondent for National Public Radio, where she continues to host the nationally broadcast Latino USA. In 1995, Hispanic Business Magazine named her one of the 100 most influential Latinos in the United toon meer States. She has won numerous awards, including the Robert F. Kennedy Award, an Associated Press award, and the National Council of La Raza's 1999 Ruben Salazar Award.
