Joel Ellis Holloway, M.D., resides in Norman, Oklahoma, where he is in the private practice of dermatology. He has a degree in pharmacy in addition to his medical degrees. A passionate naturalist, he spent many years collecting and researching the information in this dictionary. He is currently preparing a dictionary of wildflowers of Texas and the southern Great Plains.
