The story is all about a boy saying his prayers before he goes to bed. It is the conversation between he and his dad about what things are worthy of prayer. As I read the book I could just see a small child asking about each thing in the book. The small boy wants to pray for people in jail, homeless people, the sick, world peace, bugs and animals and much more. While it would be an excellent tool to teach children about prayer, I think it’s simple message is just as important for adults to hear too. I would not be able to use this book in my class, however, I did purchase a copy to keep for my own children someday.… (meer)
