Lost & Found (Surf Bay, #1) door Ashley John
I quite enjoyed this book. The story was absolutely character driven through Surf Bay did seem quaint. Oliver was a normal guy full of hormones and out for another conquest. Charlie was a bit slippery and wishy washy at first. The Charlie that admired Oliver's body that first day was definitely gay. I wish that the secondary characters were fleshed out more as they were fairly one dimensional. Very good story in what I hope is a great series.
I'm not usually a fan of enemies to lovers but this book worked for me. Violet was the bomb and the only one thinking clearly.
DNF at 32%. I can't rate this book because the problems I had with the story isn't with the story. It's with the culture in which it takes place. Now let me say: I don't really know what America does with his addicts. But... if it goes a bit like in this book... I'm appalled. And that's why I couldn't finish this. Who in there right mind thinks you're 'better' after being in a rehab clinic? And why let someone follow up with no degree in psychology or something like that? Body and mind are in play here. And most of the time the mind require much more than your body.
