J. Kagarlitski

While this book suffers from a political slant (the author is from the Soviet Union), there are sections that show a lot of insight into H.G. Wells and his works. And since Wells was a socialist all of his life, the political viewpoint is not out of line. This book came to me by accident and I am glad to have read it. Now I want to read more of my Wells collection with Kagarlitski's ideas in my mind. I am starting with Tono-Bungay which he claims is one of Well's best novels. One thing this books could use is a good index or references. There are none.… (meer)
