Wynn Kapit graduated from the University of Miami, attended the Art Center School in Los Angeles, and received a Masters in Painting from the University of California at Berkley. He also took a class in human anatomy at San Francisco City College. While taking that class, he realized that he could toon meer coloring the subject's drawings helped him learn the topic. Kapit, a former graphic designer, and Lawrence Elson, the class instructor, created The Anatomy Coloring Book (1977) which also served as a foundation for The Physiology Coloring Book (1987) and The Geography Coloring Book (1991). The Anatomy Coloring Book door Wynn Kapit
This book will be my best friend for the next six months!
This book is fun because it has such an innocent sounding title, but has a lot of meat inside. It's not just a coloring book, but has descriptions of what is on the page. For most of the book printing is on the right hand page only. (That is a plus since it removes the problem of bleed-through.)
Reading is slow because I am a slow colorer. Coloring the illustrations makes them much more delightful, and the book often has suggestions as to what kinds of colors to use. It is a delightful book to browse in, and on pages I am interested in I go ahead and color those pages.
Okay, time to mark this one as read. I'm not actually reading it, just enjoying it from time to time. AND, the fourth edition is out, so it is time to mark it as read.… (meer)

Good level of information. The act of colouring may assist some people to absorb the information, but not recommended if your schedule is heavy!
Brilliant for studying, the process of colouring really gets the information into your mind!
