Life of a chicken tells a very funny story about a chicken that got bored of her routine and was afraid of being served on the dinner plate. The story goes to show the different adventures the chicken goes through until it found a new home. It will be a great read during ELA because of the rhyming words.

About the life as a chicken and how he's trying to find where he belongs. This book is also really funny and also has a fun rhyme to it. This book is a good example of fantasy because it starts out as it could be real and then gets very imaginative. The chicken does and goes through things no real chicken would ever do. This book also gives the message to never give up.
I would use this book just as a fun encouraging book.

Review: This is a good example of fantasy because it makes the story of a talking chicken with logical thought seem possible. After escaping the frying pan, the chicken has an adventure that includes pirates, a typhoon, and a balloon ride before landing in a petting zoo.… (meer)
