This book is all about cats. It is just illustrations of cats with a description of the cat, such as "mat cat" and "lazy cat." I do not think children would like this book, unless they are reading it alone and like cats. I do not think it would captivate a classroom of children as it is not a story really. It was cute to look at.

A good example of folk-art. Could pair it with books about folk artists.

This is a book of illustration, almost no text. I also do not think this is a book for children. It's more a book for cat lovers who like illustrations of cats.

This appeals to the cat-lover in me, but I don't really see what this would do for kids.
