Not just another book on keeping a journal or keeping notes on scripture. I bought this book in April, 2009 and it is always close by, it is one of my favorite books to read on journals and life. It is designed to introduce readers to a spiritual guide who has the wisdom and experience to lead you on your own spiritual journey. Each day's journey includes a reading, a brief scripture passage, questions to ponder, suggestions for personal journaling, Psalm passage, guidance in prayer and a prayer for the day. A personal spiritual journey may start at any time, but Lent would seem like an appropriate time to explore and reflect on your faith. An excellent book choice to provide in any church library. Suggested further readings are also included as well as sources. Rating: 4—BS… (meer)
