Anne Kramer

After a week I have finished Anne’s book, “The Ultimate Book of Darts”. The structure and composition are excellent and the book itself is a fluid read. I very much enjoyed the early chapters that look at the history of the game and the mechanics etc. of play.
It is also refreshing to read a book from a perspective outside the UK. What this does is mix a common and strong foundation of the how the game came about with an outlook of the how the game is played around the world.
For many of us who do not yet play Soft Tip darts, the book opens this aspect up and certainly tempts you into that style of play.
Again from a parochial point of view, I loved the mixture of reference to the UK game and the PDC alongside the pioneers and players in the USA.
There is certainly a vide variety of aspects covered within this book and enjoyed every bit of it. Undoubtedly a book to put on your shopping list.… (meer)
