I enjoyed this book for many reasons. First, elephants are my favorite animals so I really enjoyed reading all about them and learning interesting facts that I did not know before, such as, female elephants carry their babies inside of them for almost two years! The book had a lot of interesting and engaging information that is great for readers of all ages! Next, I loved that the book had a mixture of illustrations and photographs. For example, on of the pages shows and illustration of an elephant on a scale and on the other side is a school bus. It put their weight into a context that children would understand. I think this book is a great book for readers of all ages. Not only does it teach readers all about elephants, but it also provides fun and interesting facts that many people do not know!… (meer)
