My young son loves birds, so we've checked out just about every bird book for children our library has. This book impressed me so much that I promptly ordered it for a personal copy. It is complete enough for a field guide of North American raptors, but it also includes helpful tips for correctly identifying each bird. The explanations of distinctive characteristics were well done: thorough and accurate, but using language children can understand. The graphs and charts were especially exceptional.… (meer)
