The only story I liked in this collection was "Testing Leather" by Sean Michaal. I liked the way he describes the increasing level of trust between Sammy and Pete. I gave that a 4-star rating.
This is a really funny story about a Viking vampire named Brandr living 'the quiet life' in LA. When Kyle, a younger vampire, needs his help, Brandr tries to push him away because he likes his solitude. However, Brandr's heart turns out to be bigger than he thought (or would admit, for that matter). Even though he isn't the one who turned Kyle, he ends up helping the boy settle into his new life. Grumbling all the way, pretending to be annoyed - but actually, pretty happy with the company.

This second book in the series was as much fun as the first. Brandr is such a grumpy bear on the outside, but has such a big heart, you just have to love him. The way he runs into Jamie and is all 'noble' about not having sex with him was unexpected. It's a good thing that Kyle helps him fix the situation!
