Angus MacLellan (1879–1962)

An interesting but not entirely successful attempt to capture and translate the essence of the Gaelic folk tales of the Outer Hebrides, an oral tradition closely related to folk ballads, full of bloodthirsty tales of giants, kings, fairies and conflicts between landowners and crofters.
