I am not even really sure what the premise of this book was, but I really enjoyed it. There is no big sturm and drang, no huge plot twist or anything. Just a story of a girl trying to make it in California. Currently she is a star's assistant (a thankless job if I have ever heard of one) and a best friend. Not much to this, but I swept through it pretty quickly and didn't want to put it down. I was a little bothered by the storyline involving the mom, it just didn't need to be there.
