The Last Tribe door Brad Manuel
I enjoyed this post-apocolyptic tale of survivors finding one another an d making plans to survive.
The Last Tribe was clearly written with "The Family" in mind, but the story is so gripping that anyone, especially a prepper, will love it. The sex and profanity are mild enough for young readers, while the intensity of death, human nature and struggle for survival locks the reader in a desire to learn the fate of these well-written characters.
Rebecca is a true heroine. Her foresight, willingness to immerse herself in learning and aptitude for planning is really what saves everyone. This is one of my favorite stories...SMILE!!!… (meer)

This book is way too rosy about the end of the world, but it's not a hard read. I didn't hate it, but didn't love it.
This book is way too rosy about the end of the world, but it's not a hard read. I didn't hate it, but didn't love it.
This book has some serious flaws as far as plausibility goes, and it's very different from the typically violent stories told in most post-apocalyptic novels. However, there's something charming about it, and I enjoyed it despite its flaws and slow pace.
