Bruno Manz was born in 1921 in Dortmund, Germany. A former member of the Hitler Youth, the Luftwaffe, and the German army, he fought on the Arctic Ocean front during World War II. In 1957, he received his doctorate in theoretical physics and soon emigrated to the United States to work on the U.S. toon meer Army's ballistic missile program. Now a U.S. citizen, Dr. Manz lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico toon minder
