Jake Marcionette

There is a boy named Jake his family is moving to Maryland and Jake says that his awesomeness will help him with the new school but he doesn’t know that his sister will make their first appearance really bad even when Jake's mom uses there inside nicknames that make them a bit embarrassed. Jake starts his first day at school but at his old school he was considered a middle schooler but at his new school he was still in elementary school which that made Jake mad. His first day turn bad he was first in a kindergarten class than they found the class he was supposed to be in and his teacher started to laugh at that because he was in the wrong class with kids who were smaller than him. Jake meets his the neighbor from across the street his name was Jason was held back a few years and had a thing for cute girls and that meant Jakes sister Jason had a thing for her. Jason was telling Jake about how he was a bad boy and how he was really supposed to be in middle school with Jakes sister Alexis who didn’t like Jason the first day the came to Maryland. Jake meets this kid named “wild Boy” but that’s what they call him at school Jake want to talk with him but for an impression he put jake in the trash can Jake talks to one of his teachers and she tells him that “wild boy” is not a bad guy but really a nice kid when you get to know him. One day at lunch Jake made a paper airplane and it landed in “wild Boys” food and Jason thought a fight was going so Jason took the place as Jake, Jason said that they should fight on the weekend but turns out “wild boy” was a black belt and that wasn’t a good thing so Jason was being a coward and said that he wouldn’t fight him because he was a black belt.

My opinion on this book is that it was good and the main character was the author and how Jake include the information on how a new student should be clear on what there day will be. When Jake said he was in a class full of kindergarteners my mind went start to how could someone mistaken something like that but Jake said in the book that there teacher and his had the same name so it was very confusing that for him but still why were the kids running in the halls I know teachers don’t like that. Another thing is that why would his sister be so mean really she could have been going through there move from where the were to know where they are. I think that through this book that some of the the information was Jake's background of his new school and how that sometimes thing can’t go the way you planned it may go south or maybe it will go according plan. This book was also very funny and had some very bad jokes but still it was good to read it when I have some free time in class. I don’t like chapter books but Just Jake made me feel confident to read short chapter books not long ones.… (meer)

This teen-authored book started out fairly conventionally as far as a humorous book goes but found its more sprightly voice once Jake got to Maryland and began attending his new school. Jake relies on his Rules of Awesomeness to cope with being the new kid ("When trying to impress a girl, it's best not to remind her how stupid you are."). It takes a few months but Jake finds a social group of sorts with the "Misfit Toys" and ends up best friends with the enigmatic and feared "Wild Boy." Marcionette was only 12 when he wrote this book and there is definitely promise as a funny-book writer. Fans of Wimpy Kid, Big Nate or The Terrible Two will enjoy this addition to the humor canon.… (meer)

has a hit show. they volunteered, they love him and stuff so during the summer Jake and his family has
To survive. At the begging Jake sells old truck tires to gyms for exercises, once his sister finds out
so she watches and takes triplets that are crazy hyper to the camp.
I give this book four stars because I wish their was more in the book but other than that I liked it. I would suggest this book for fun because that is when I read it.… (meer)

This Just Jake is about Jake and his class mates making a Business, A Dog Grooming Business. At the beginning his Teacher was pregnant and had the baby so their came a sub. The sub was going to retire and needed money so Jake and his class mates helped her start a dog Business. Jake started at the top of making websites and computer part of the Business until his Sister came and throw him under the bus. After his sister came he became the janitor of the van for the grooming.

I give this book four stars because i wanted more to the story and more about their teacher and about their Business. I would recemond it because it teaches about starting a Business and how you need to keep it.… (meer)
