Love, sex and gender in the world religions door Joseph Runzo
Written from a religious studies perspective (one of those academic disciplines that doesn't have a lot of "there" there), these essays tend to be unable to critique religious attitudes towards sex and gender, since the religious point-of-view is usually privileged. This leads to a lot of dross. I did, however, find the William LaFleur and the Carter Heyward articles to have ideas worth chewing on.
