Patricia Marx

A quirky and off little book about the relationship between two eccentric people who somehow form a lasting relationship. It's told in *very* short chapters (the author calls them "chaplettes"), sometimes only one sentence long. There is a lot of humor and despite the snappy style, some universal truths. That said, the format and length don't allow for much depth or connection to the characters. It was a fun read but not one I am likely to remember.

Soooooo good!

I think parents appreciate the kid-that-won't-go-to-bed books more than kids do. It is nice to know it isn't just us!

So far (I'm about 40% through) I think it's funny and relatable (really, teetering on the edge of CRAZY), but I can't seem to finish it. Too many children's fantasy series to read, and they are so much easier.
