Demon Battle Action!

Backstory:

Jaxon is back in this last installment as the temple that was his home is now under attack by the possessed that were prisoners there. The monks are in bad trouble as the demon that resides in Sister Amelia has plans to lay waste to anyone that gets in her way! Jaxon has to utilize all his skills to see that justice is served and to somehow free Sister Amelia from the demon's hold. It won't be easy, but come "Hell or Highwater" Jaxon will see it through to the end!

That is about all I can hand out on a backstory without giving away spoilers, so if you want to know more then you will need to read the book!

Thoughts:

This last installment was a perfect ending for the series and I was surprised by how this book ended too as I thought I had it fixed in my mind how it all was going to happen, but the author surprised me and had other plans on how it was all going to end. There was tons of action in this last book which kept my insomnia fueled as when everything hit the fan there was no stopping to catch my breath with this story!

Fast paced action, tension, and suspense!

I would "Highly Recommend" to all dark fantasy fans that love action and that love to keep turning the pages late into the night and into the early hours of the morning! Giving this book five "Hellish Hexorcist" stars!

The Witch Hunter becomes the Hunted!



A small backstory:

Jaxon Weylock is back this time on tracking down a psycho killer a/k/a the Witch Hunter that thinks women are real witches as he kidnaps them and then burns them like they did back in the witch days of Salem.

Jaxon has to make fast tracks on locating the psycho before he can kill again and he will do whatever it takes to put a stop to the witch hunter.

That is about all I can give on a backstory as you will just need to read the book!

Thoughts:

I did like this book, but it was not full of the supernatural power play between the bad guy and Weylock this time around. The bad guy is just a normal guy with lots of twisted psycho issues that would be best served for him to be locked in a mental ward than to be out on the streets snatching up women that he thinks are witches.

Weylock though makes him see the error of his ways Hexecutioner style but in the meantime I felt there was more of a soft side playing out with Weylock that I have not seen in the previous books as the author shows that Weylock has an emotional side in this story.

Something happens that was totally unexpected which surprised me and though it was an interesting twist to the story, I really never expected it. Giving this book four "Wicked Witchy" stars!

Weylock is on the hunt again!



A small backstory:

People that are considered white albinos are being killed in horrific ways, but when a man that has dubbed himself the Phantom tries to track down the source of who is killing these people he becomes trapped himself with a witch doctor. Jaxon starts seeing visions of what is taking place and has to travel to East Africa to not only try to save the Phantom, but to also enfold the witch doctor into "Jaxon's Justice".

Thoughts:

This was a very short story and it was a quick romp as I do believe that it is one of the shortest books in the series.

The pace was fast as usual and the action was pristine, but I felt that there could have been more to the story with this one as I would have liked to learn a little bit more about the Phantom himself along with a little more content to the storyline as this story was over quick and I was wishing for a longer stay in "Weylock's World" so that is why this book is not a five star read. Giving this one four "Witch Doctor Diabolical" stars.

Action packed justice is served again in this seventh installment!



A small backstory:

A snuff film maker, Corbin Jager has been dabbling in the black arts and has learned how to entrap souls into his videos, but when Jaxon "sees all" by using the Necrodex a/k/a Book of the Dead and tracks Corbin down there is going to be "hell to pay" as Jaxon is ready to rumble with his "demon action" and show Corbin what the true meaning is of tapping into black magic!

Thoughts:

This series is just rocking right along and the unique stories that author, William Massa has created are mind boggling as each story is full of action with lots of creative situations that he just weaves around you with each story!

Loving this series and I love how the character, Jaxon has all these cool abilities that he is able to perform against the bad guys! Giving this one five "Cursed Magic" stars!
