This book is about a family moving to the desert. They are going to build an adobe home. The site they are building on happens to be a site once lived on by Anasazis. A ghost Eya starts to talk to the grandfather. They make a deal that if the home is built right, with respect for the environment, Eya will go easy on them.
This was my first time reading this book. There is no color in the book. I was a little bored when reading this book. I did not care for it much.
This book would be a great spring board for a discussion on the Anasazi people. Another idea would be to use it when talking about respect for nature.… (meer)
