[Bonded: Book One of the ShadowLight Saga] by [Mande Matthews] was an fantasy novel with a Nordic twist. [Matthews] intertwines the stories of Nordic gods with the imagination of the author. She used them as a jumping off point to not only create a good story but also, perhaps, generate interest in learning more about the tales of these gods.

The Light Keepers, a YA Epic Fantasy Prequel… door Mande Matthews

This prequel to the Shadowlight Saga is a fantastic read, very quick and gives a great introduction to the saga to come. Matthews is an incredible writer and the storyline just flows, page after page. I wish more young adults would find this series as there is so much to this saga to love. Start with this and you will quickly become a fan of the series.

Betrothal - Book 1 of Queen's Honor - Teen… door Mande Matthews

This new series is a great way to pass a few hours in your day. This lays the groundwork for the next book and hopefully more to come after that. We are introduced to a wonderful cast of characters that could take us anywhere. Matthews does a great job of character development in this first book, which sets the stage for the next book. You won't be disappointed in this sweet adventure/romance.

Bonded is a wonderful fantasy book that has everything that you would want in this genre: adventure, magic, strange new lands, evil that must be defeated, a little romance, humor, and a fantastic new hero and heroine to start this trilogy off right. Never a dull moment in this book, the reader will be drawn into this new world that Mande Matthews has created. The characters are well-developed and very likeable. By the end of this book, you will be eagerly awaiting the next. A wonderful start to this trilogy, hopefully the next one will be coming soon!… (meer)
