Okay, maybe I need to do a little bit of research on this, but WHY IS MAGIC SPELLED WITH A “K” IN THIS??? Like, what? That’s my only little vent here, so here’s my actual review.
I LOVED reading this book. The take on Celtic mythology is very interesting and enlightening, and part of me DEFINITELY wants to try some of the things I’m here. I definitely recommend this as a read for anyone interested in the Celtic world, mythology, or both.

Fantastically ignorant and insulting to the Irish people and Culture. Apparently the Irish used to worship a potato goddess(ignoring the fact that Ireland and England didn't have potatoes until Sir Francis Drake brought them back to England in 1586). Also apparently pumpkins were grown and used in ritual in pre-Christian Ireland ignoring the fact that pumpkins are relatively new to Irish people. This book is good for toilet paper and/or cheering up when you are sad(as you can laugh about the sheer stupidity of the author).

If you want to look into Irish Traditions check out "Irish Witchcraft for an Irish witch" by Lora O Brien. Avoid Witta like the plague...

What can you say, it's an almanac. There is fun stuff, serious stuff, historical stuff and lots of amusing ads.
