Definitiv kein niedriges Einstiegslevel in die Quantentheorie (da sind die Bücher Carlo Rovellis besser geeignet). Die Verpackung als Comic könnte in die Irre führen, obwohl der Inhalt atemberaubend ist und ein umfassenden Überblick über die historischen Entwicklungen gegeben wird. Es wird sogar in mathematische Formeln eingetaucht. Quantentheorie ist im Allgemeinen sehr abstrakt und schwer zu begreifen... zumindest für Nicht-Physiker*innen... Ich habe das Gefühl, dass ein*e Leser*in ohne solides Grundwissen in Physik und Chemie nicht sehr weit kommen wird... zumindest nicht schnell und ohne zusätzliche Lektüre.… (meer)

This book covers the history of astronomy from about 1800 BC to the present. The author describes the personalities of the astronomers and their advances in understanding of our universe. It is interesting to hear about how many incorrect theories persisted due to bias and a lack of scientific information. The author demonstrates a deep understanding of astrophysics and is able to write in a manner that is clear and interesting.
Pros
-Gives an understandable, detailed explanation of quantum physics.
-Pays the necessary attention to the backgrounds of the theory.
-Avoids unnecessary jargon.
Cons
- Neglects the mathematics of the theory
-Presumes some prior knowledge of Thermodynamics
