Very sweet short intro as an interlude to a future story. I'm not usually a huge fan of historicals but my heart really went out to the 2 MC in this story as they fight in a war and live during WWII times. Very interested and looking forward to this story being fully written...as long as there is a HEA. :-)

As one of the group who worked on editing and proofing these stories and helped put the anthologies together I might be considered biased, but these anthologies are definitely worthy of the 5 star rating.

Gah...I have no words! A really superb piece of writing. Brilliant characters written to fit the time period. And I'm still leaking tears even though there is a HEA!

This is a cute story about two guys, one of whom lost sight of what is really important and dedicated his life to his career, leaving the other "behind" as he advanced.

If you like family drama, stories about men who re-evaluate their lives then change course, and if you enjoy reunions and lovers' reconciliations, you will probably like this short story.
