David G. Messerschmitt

David G. Messerschmitt is the Roger A. Strauch Chaired Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Formerly EECS department chair, he is a noted researcher in the areas of telecommunications and networking. His business experience includes toon meer cofounding TCSI Corporation, research at ATandT Bell Laboratories, and service on several boards of directors. Active in curriculum development aimed at teaching computing and networking concepts to a broad cross section of students, Messerschmitt is also a member of the National Academy of Engineering. toon minder
