Emily Minton

First off I have to say I am loving that 4 authors have decided to have each other’s characters show up in their books. In case you didn’t know Chelsea Camaron, Jessie Lane, Emily Minton and Theresa Marguerite Hewitt each have their own MC series and the characters and plots intermix between them.

We’ve all read women being in bad marriages to abusive men but I have to say what the heroine was forced to endure during her marriage was a new one for me. I’ll let the reader find out what that was on their own. When she finally gets the courage to leave him she calls her brother who she has been estranged from because of her husband and comes clean about the sick crap she has had to endure for years and why she married the man in the first place. Her brother decides the best place for her is to hide is with one of his buds from the Army, Bowie who is the Vice President of the Savage Outlaws MC.

This book shows the rougher side of the MC life but the story was a good one and with it being blended with the suspense of if her husband would find her, the power struggle going on within the MC, betrayals from within the club and great secondary characters both part of the MC and associated with it in some form I really enjoyed the story and am glad to have found another new series to follow.… (meer)

This quick glimpse into Bowie and Shay’s life when she is 7 months pregnant gives us a little bit of everything. Plenty of sexy moments, Bowie still trying to clean up the mess his father left while not going to war with any of the other clubs his father screwed over and Shay trying to come to terms with the fact her husband has to be gone a lot taking care of club business.

I did a quick reread of Beautiful Outlaw before reading this and even though this series is on the rougher side of the MC life you still cant help but fall in love with the Savage Outlaws as they delve out their own sense of justice to those that wrong them and the ones they love. Looking forward to Tin Man’s story coming out next month.

After reading Dirty Bastard I couldn't wait to start on Addy and Brew's story in Filthy Bastard, and it was an amazing story. If you've read Dirty Bastard you'll notice the story runs parallel and the first few chapters remind you of the plot and how Addy and Brew met and new added info about their lives. Addy especially has had a difficult time.

Brew was a wonderful character, a bit of a conundrum, he's a tough biker and he'll do anything for his brothers but he also can also be a gentle giant.
The last thing Addy expected was to be kidnapped by a scary biker and can't wait to escape, but when she spends time with him her feelings change and she begins to fall for him.

I loved this book. It's a love story that is full of emotion and at times it is heart wrenching. A great story, I loved it. Warning, tissues are required when reading this book! 5/5… (meer)
