I completely understood his struggle to accept it as a molestation and not something that he was able to give consent for. He was too young to have consent to give. I think that is one of the most intriguing parts of the book. His coming to understand that this was really a big deal and not insignificant and may have affected his self esteem and life overall was inspiring. I didn't pick this book up for a while after I received it. I thought it might be painful or maybe too ugly and upsetting to read about. Truth is, it was not a hard book to read. A coming to acceptance story that any adult who was raped as a child should read.… (meer)

The author needs to collect his thoughts, and write them in a way that is easy for the reader to follow. The parts I did understand were beautifully written, but overall there was a lot of jumping around, which made it especially difficult. I wound up not finishing the book.

Deze bespreking is geschreven voor LibraryThing Vroege Recensenten."All the Rage A Quest" by Martin Moran is a beautifully written book that takes the reader on a personal study of forgiveness. It is more than just Moran's own feelings about forgiveness, we are shown throughout the book other people's views on the topic as well. I highly recommend this book, and I think it would make an excellent choice for a book group.
