Daniel David Moses is an editor, an essayist, a dramaturge, an associate professor in the department of drama at Queen's University, and one of Canada's foremost First Nations writers. He is the author of Almighty Voice and His Wife, An Anthology of Canadian Native Literature in English, The toon meer Dreaming Beauty (a winner of the 1990 Theatre Canada National Play-wrighting Competition), Coyote City (a nominee for the 1991 Governor General's Literary Award for Drama), and poetry Delicate Bodies, The White Line, and River Range-a CD with music. With Exile Editions he has released the dramas The Indian Medicine Shows (which garnered the 1996 James Buller Memorial Award for Excellence in Aboriginal Theatre), Big Buck City, Brbeuf's Ghost, and Kyotopolis, the nonfiction Pursued by a Bear-Talks, Monologues and Tales, poetry Sixteen Jesuses, and edited the anthology The Exile Book of Native Canadian Fiction and Drama. toon minder
