This would be a good book for older primary students or younger intermediate students. This book is about two friends who engage in a friendly game of Horse, or Ghost. They begin debating over who should go first, and then they both start imagining and creating unique ways they would start off the game. The ways involve the ball leaving Earth, and bouncing off objects, and always finding its way back into the net. This book is helpful because it represents two African American friends in a very universal way, they are having fun and being very creative in their ideas about how they would make the first basket. I would use this book by having it in my classroom library, so that students who like to play basketball or horse can find it and relate to it.… (meer)
