Reading this novel, by a very credible author, led me to read more about the life and career of Hugo Chavez.
The ending was complex and a surp[rise.

very important work, one everyone interested and concerned about the future should read, explains the gridlock in DC and that it is not just the US experiencing these challenges... it is the world... and not just governments but businesses, churches, labor unions, and many other organizations

It seems I must be in the minority here as I really didn’t feel I connected with Two Spies in Caracas. I can understand some of the opinions in other reviews, but, maybe I was just expecting too much from this as when I finished I felt pretty underwhelmed.
