Kunal Nayyar

This was a pretty quick little read. I love The Big Bang Theory, and I knew a little bit about Kunal Nayyar, so I thought I'd pick it up, and I wasn't disappointed. Nayyar tells anecdotes from his own life, from childhood to television stardom, and makes himself sound like a pretty regular guy. He has had successes and failures, is confident and unsure in equal measure--all qualities that I and any reader can probably relate to. I'm not sure if it was because of the title, but I heard his voice in my head the whole time I was reading, and it felt like he was just sitting with me, telling stories and sharing snippets of wisdom. This author of this book is better known as Raj from Big Bang Theory. This delightful book focuses on his childhood, dating life, and pre-Big Bang theory career, so don't expect a lot of juicy stories on the Big Bang theory TV show.

it is only lately that I have been catching up on Big Bang Theory. Often I watch older shows while rocking my baby to sleep for her second nap of the day. Yes, I have sang the warm kitty song to her!

This book earns 4.25 stars in my book. I do get the idea there are a lot of similarities between Raj and Kunal's personalities. I've recently added Mayim Bialik (Amy or also known as Blossom) blog to my reading list and Kunal is entertaining enough for me to follow him if he a a blog.… (meer)
