I have known the author for a long time and am thrilled that she has finally written a book to share her amazing experiences -- and her experience in cat rescue -- with the rest of the world. Although very enjoyable, this book also informs about the overabundance of neglected and abandoned cats. Each chapter is a vignette of a rescue adventure experienced by the author and her husband, who seems to tolerate with exasperated good humor the determination of his wife to save all the felines in North America. Because the chapters are short, I have fun curling up with a cat at my side and a cup of my favorite hot beverage, reading 1 or 2 cat stories each night.
