A completely Canadian collection of knitting projects made with wool from Briggs & LIttle, an historic Canadian woolen mill. Remarkable variety of projects, ranging from felted beavers dressed in Hudson Bay jackets to a number of beautiful Fair Isle inspired sweaters and even a lace shawl. The great thing about this book is that the yarns will most likely remain available, because Briggs & Little is known for the long-term consistency of supply of their yarns: colours match closely from lot to lot and colours or types of yarn are rarely discontinued. I have many knitting books on my shelf for which this is not the case, and it's refreshing not to have to begin a project by wondering if any yarn still available can substitute for the obscure yarn specified in instructions.… (meer)
