Put a Royal, Prince or Princess and I know I will like the book. This book certainly didn’t disappoint me. I loved Camille, who had struggled to live, doing things to make a living and actually living in a run down-trailer. She is called a witch and people believe her sister was to blame for the royal palace going up in flames with several people killed. Her mission in life was to find out who did the fire so she can have her sister’s name no longer to blame. Suddenly a good looking duke shows up and asks her to marry her. Apparently the duke’s father told him to marry Camille, or he will not be in his inheritance. Camille agrees as long as the duke helps her find the truth about the fire. And the story goes on trying to find the truth and comes up with a lot of mystery and questions.… (meer)
This wasn’t bad. But it wasn’t great. However, it was a decent nod to P&P.
An enjoyable story with great characters. I really liked the commentary on the artworks
Sasha and Arnaud have the adventure of a lifetime. I am a fan of this series because it kind of reminds me of a rom-com version of the Davinci Code. The secrets, intrigue and mystery entwined with fun and steamy romance make this an enjoyable and quick read. Sasha's sassy stubbornness makes her quite the character. Arnaud's tenacity to stay with her makes him the perfect man. A perfect second book to this series that was just as good as the first. I eagerly await the next one. Highly recommend.
