Very good workbook for learning Spanish language pronouns and prepositions.

For pronouns, the book covers: subject pronouns, interrogative pronouns, prepositional pronouns, direct object pronouns, indirect object pronouns, double object pronouns (indirect plus direct), reflexive pronouns, possessive pronouns, demonstrative pronouns, relative pronouns, adjectives as pronouns, and uses of "se".

For prepositions it covers the prepositions, the differences between "para" and "por", and verbs & adjectives with characteristic prepositions.

This is a workbook with lots of practice exercises plus some theory.

The book's main shortcoming is that there are some typos and errors in the text and answers. I don't think these are serious, but you should be aware that there are some. I am learning Spanish and I found working through this book to be very useful.

Raycroft was a teacher in a rural Ontario, Canada high school from 1959 to 1985. In these pages, he gives us a history of the education system during those years plus his experiences teaching during that period. He examines how the political and social revolution that was taking place during the 1960's and 1970's affected what went on in the classroom and more importunately,in the heads of the various administrations of his school. The book is loaded with anecdotes of great teaching moments and hugely inept moves by principals and vice-principals. There must have been some amazing teachers in his school for they encouraged their students to prepare briefs for Royal Commissions and deliver them in person, something Raycroft admits he did not have the courage to do himself.
I taught in an Ontario high school during most of this period and shared many of Raycroft's experiences. We were both teacher-librarians. I must have been very lucky to work with the administrators who served in my school. All of them had the students' interest at heart and the one or two who may have been weak, had certain strengths that made up for the ones they did not have. Written as a letter to his students, the book ends by Raycroft encouraging us to keep public education free of corporate interests and to make the environment an important subject from kindergarten to high school.
