A sweet, poetic book about Larry the dog and his experience in a public library. The book starts with the introduction of book mobiles and then runs through all the aspects of a public library through the eyes of Larry. Soon he is discovered and returned back to his family on their farm.

What a wonderful illustrated book! Pete (the boy) and Larry (his dog) are at Grandma's farm when the Bookmobile comes. Larry feels left out so he goes aboard and finds himself in the city, in the big library building, and taking the grand tour! Did I mention that the illustrations are brilliant? Terrific for any age and perfect for ESL.

If you love poems and you love pirates you will love this book! It is full of individual poems that tell one long pirate tale. Very fun!
