Got this from my mom from the CCHS library. Last book I read while we lived in Oceanside in 2023. Provided a good insight on the history of the battle and helped to shed light on some of the myths. Had additional portions about more recent history of the site and its preservation that were not as interesting to me. Would not really recommend reading.

I've had an interest in the Vietnam War for a long time. I took a couple classes on it in college and I have a small-ish, but pretty good, collection of books on the subject. Where the Domino Fell is probably still the best one among the lot. If you have any interest in the subject, I highly recommend this book.

I really appreciate the amount of research that went into this book. It is difficult to read an account of the Alamo that sticks to the facts. This book is a must read for anyone who is studying the history of Texas or the lives of the "legends" that fell at this place.
