This is not the pandemic picture book I was looking for.

My 6yo and I read this together in May 2021 and we were both confused about what the author was trying to say. So lockdown made us better? Say what?

This book would be good for lower primary grades, likely kindergarten and maybe first grade. This book is about people staying home during the pandemic and some of the things that a lot of people did. I would love to use this book in my classroom to discuss COVID and the pandemic, especially as we get farther away from the actual quarantine aspect of it. It is a very simple book though, so ensuring you have the right age group is a must.

This book only had few words on each page and was mainly pictures, but it went through what people did at home while in quarantine, such as read, dance, talk and many other things. This would be good in a classroom because it is a different perspective on the Covid-19 pandemic and shows how through the hard times people were able to bond with those around them and come out of this with a new outlook on life.… (meer)
