This short and straightforward account of England in the middle ages is worth reading if you’re interested in the period.
Interesting but lagging towards the latter end of the book. Nonetheless, not bad.
Some hilarious colour illustrations. No wonder people grew up with a strange view of the world.
This book would tick off a *lot* of people if used in a school today. Some of the things that we think of today as such a major a part of history that colors everything are missing from this volume (see publication date).
