VERY interesting story about a multiengine Navy plane involved in a mid-air collision with a Chinese fighter aircraft off the coast of China in 2001. The Navy plane with its crew of 23 was forced to land in China. They were kept "as guests" of the Chinese until diplomats were able to force their release.

Though the story is old enough to be history, it can easily be replayed again to become a dangerous series of current events. It's a well told story about aviation and people under duress in a closed country that exists today.… (meer)

I predict that Shane will make the military and will be rewarded with an honorary medal for rescuing and saving his team. And that he will be successful. He is determined and was determined to be a Navy pilot since he was 10. This book may end with Shane giving his life for his team. This book hopefully will have a happy ending. I also predict that he will be remembered for his heroic act.
