After serving more than 30 years with the Oklahoma City Police Department, Ron Owens recently retired as a Captain commanding the Criminal Intelligence Unit. Born in Oklahoma City and a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, he spent his first 18 years on the force as a Patrolman and toon meer Detective including 8 years in Homicide, 11 years as a Hostage Negotiator on the Tactical Team and other assignments in Narcotics, Sex Crimes and Forgery.
