Well, I enjoyed this reread, but I think it's time to part with the book... it just isn't as engaging to my adult self, and in too poor condition to save as heirloom.

But it does hit the highlights, so either would be ok. This one doesn't have any troublesome racist or related issues, though. And good ole Paul Bunyan has a larger role in this. Lightfoot Sue (as she's known here) gets stuck in the moon, instead of being tamed to timidity."… (meer)
