For the most part I like it, that being said, it is out of date for some parts.

It's very readable which is a good thing.

Probably could also stand to be a little longer as well.

If you enjoy David Sedaris, you will enjoy this book. I listened to the audio version and found myself laughing. I am now 70, the age he’s talking about as being old. I hope that I am one of the “perennials” in his book, someone who can adapt to change (like in being able to keep up with phone technology). I could have written this book, too, at a younger age, and I’m glad I’m able to continue to laugh about what the body does to us despite what we plan.

Looks like it'd be good to many interested people, though not necessarily to those with a support community & experience already.

No mention of polyamory (in the index), but plenty of specific stuff related to BDSM, so I guess different things make different people queasy. Which is Petrow's point, in a lot of the advice nuggets I read here. He does make sure to be respectful even to people who are asking disrespectful questions - a neat trick.
