Chicken Little is about a little chicken who thinks the sky is falling. On his way to tell the king, he tells 4 other animals so they join him. When they get there, the king informs him that it was just an acorn that had fallen on his tail. This story is cute and I understand it is a very old folktale. To me, it resembles The Boy Who Cried Wolf. The chicken went sharing information without having all of the details. I think this book is a good one to share with kids when explaining rumors to them and how it is not good to share them. Kids should know to have all of the facts before they tell others because they could have people worried for no reason. This rule goes in the classroom very well as kids love to tell the teacher on each other. A story that teaches a lesson is always good for children. I think it really puts the lesson on their level for them to get and understand through animated pictures and funny stories.… (meer)
