J.P. Reedman

A very quick and easy read and I liked the "past to present" format. I do wish the book was longer though. Not much is known about Katherine (illegitimate daughter of Richard III) so the author did her best to create a story as believable as could be. There were just a few parts that I would doubt that a bastard daughter would confront her cousin - future Queen of England but again who knows. If you are a Richard III fan - I would recommend. I will read other books by this author.

I really enjoyed this book about Eleanor the Fair Maid of Brittany as I never read about her before. I had read about her brother Arthur and, of course, her grandparents and uncles. This was well written and I finished it in one day - had a hard time putting it down. It was well balanced between narrative and descriptive which is perfect for me. Another book by JP Reedman that I enjoyed immensely - I will continue to read others by her.

I liked it but it seemed so chronologically different from other books I have read. I don't want to give spoilers but if you know the story you will quickly see it. I don't have issue with changes, that's what I enjoy about historical fiction, but it lacked character reaction. Not my favorite of this author.

Fascinating

Second book I have read by this author and not disappointed again. Enjoyed it very much. First book I have read about Edward I daughter Mary. Definitely recommend this book.
