This book is about an elephant who cannot sleep without his favorite pillow. A boy comes along and tries to find all the elephant's wishes to encourage the elephant to sleep again.

The elephant also won't carry anyone. Sing Lo goes to see the elephant and gives him some buns, makes him a drink, and has a pillow made for him so the elephant will finally sleep.
